Course Description: Performing CPR on an Adult, Child, and Infant and using an AED
Performing Adult First Aid Training
The Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers course covers 1-Rescuer and 2-Rescuer CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) on an adult, child, and infant and explains the differences between adult, child, and infant rescue techniques and how to use a pocket-mask, bag-valve mask, rescue breathing, and relief of choking.
The Heartsaver First Aid course covers skills like how to use an EpiPen for an allergic reaction, control bleeding, asthma, sprains, broken bones, a person who had a seizure, shock, and other first aid emergencies.
The first aid emergencies includes: Basics, Medical, Injuries, and Environmental.
Who needs to take this course?
Adult Home Healthcare, Some Medical Clinics or Medical College programs require their employees or students to attend a CPR & AED and a First Aid course.
